Larchmont Avenue Church’s Annual Rummage Sale
A time-honored tradition, Larchmont Avenue Church’s Annual Rummage Sale is eagerly awaited and robustly attended. For over 30 years, the sale has attracted thousands of donations and almost an equal number of shoppers. It is a thrifter’s paradise where treasures can be found on the clothing racks and in the toy bins. Dazzling jewelry and fabulous housewares line the tables. There is something for everyone, and as our repeat customers tell us, “I am never disappointed.” Priced to please, our items find their way to new homes each year.
The sale is the ultimate in doing good! It provides items for families across the Sound Shore whose budgets might be stretched. It raises funds supporting LAC’s community outreach via grants passed along to our local mission partners. It is the pinnacle of Earth care as items are rescued from landfills and are recycled and reimagined! It is a fun day out with friends or family to connect with the community as you search for special treats and treasures.

The 2025 Annual Rummage sale begins May 1 at 4PM and runs through May 3rd at noon. Bring your thrifters’ eye and shopping bags, too. Spread the word, it is always more fun to shop with a friend.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
The sale runs on the energy and commitment of our volunteers. It is such a rewarding experience to see the joy the sale brings to the hundreds of shoppers that come through our doors each year. We welcome all to volunteer to help sort and price donations, as greeters for our community customers, shopper helpers and cashiers. You can volunteer for one or more shifts! It is a wonderful way to connect with our LAC family and the broader community, too.

Raising Funds for Our Local Mission Partners
Rummage sale proceeds will be directed to the LAC Community Fund, the purpose of which is to lend support to LAC’s community outreach efforts in the form of grant awards to our local mission partners.
