About LAC
Raising Our Joyful Sounds to God in Worship

Music is a joyous, integral part of our church. It contributes to the beauty of our worship service and the spiritual life of our members and community. Our music ministry is a unique opportunity to "sound the praise divine" in each of us.

Our extensive music program includes the Chancel Choir and Children's Choirs, a resident brass quintet, an instrumental ensemble comprised of members of the church and community, an excellent pipe organ, and a full-time Music DirectorDouglas Kostner, to oversee it all.

One of the most special features of the program is that it freely joins professionals with amateurs and draws in the surrounding community through collaborations with The Larchmont Music Academy and the Westchester Chorale.  We do not passively listen as at a concert, but fully participate in raising our joyful sounds to God through worship.

If you were to add up all of the participants in all of the musical groups and all of the guest musicians over the past year, you would find close to 200 singers and musicians engaged in making music at LAC during the course of one year!  Your active participation and support makes it possible!
