Larchmont Avenue Church (LAC) is deeply committed to serving those in need and is known for its service in our community and abroad. In 2015, LAC, through the Church and Society committee, distributed nearly $40,000 to a variety of service agencies both at home and far away. Grants totaling $20,000 were made possible through the annual allocation from LAC's Benevolence Endowment Fund. The grants, ranging from $500 to $3,500, were distributed to our mission partners.
In our efforts to promote compassion and justice for all, we have built relationships and long-term partnerships with a range of mission partners addressing needs such as hunger, mental health, and homelessness.

Nearly $12,000 in net proceeds were raised and will be directed to LAC’s community grants, with some funds distributed this year and some set aside to ensure the sustainability of the grants program.
The Church and Society Committee recently approved monetary grants to a number of LAC’s mission partners. $20,000 was distributed to help the following non-profit organizations meet the needs of the people they serve: The Bridge Fund, Bridges to Community, Habitat for Humanity, Hispanic Resource Center, H.O.P.E.
